Mailicity
Email, for the people you love. A kinder, safer inbox for your Mum, Dad, or anyone you look after.

Mailicity is an email service designed for the people most exposed to phishing, scams, and interface confusion — typically elderly relatives, parents in care, or anyone with cognitive decline or reduced dexterity who relies on email to stay connected.
Instead of trying to filter scams after they arrive, Mailicity flips the model: nothing reaches the person unless a family administrator has approved who sent it. Strangers, marketing, account alerts and phishing land in a family moderation queue, not the person's inbox. Approved senders come straight through into a calmer, oversized, no-folders interface tuned to the user's accessibility needs.
Mailicity wraps the user's existing email account — Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, anything IMAP — so there's no new address to remember and no migration. Built and operated by Syriant, the service was born out of a real family situation: a 92-year-old mother in aged care, heavy hearing loss, and email as her lifeline to family overseas.
What Makes Mailicity Different
Allowlist, Not Blocklist
Nothing reaches the user unless a family administrator has approved who sent it.
Tunable Accessibility
Three modes — full controls, calmer middle, or radically simple for users overwhelmed by mainstream clients.
No Ads. No Data Sales.
Paid by the family, not by advertisers. Message bodies aren't retained long-term or used for training.
